In April 2010, the member of the Revolutionary Struggle, Lambros Foundas, falls dead after a clash with cops in an alley way in Dafni during a preparatory action for the organization.

This incident was the beginning of a series of prosecutions and imprisonments of comrades. Three of them, Kostas Gournas, Polla Roupa and Nikos Maziotis take the political responsibility of their participation in the R.S. while the prosecutions and imprisonments for Sarandos Nikitopoulos, Christoforos Kortesis, Vaggleis Stathopoulos, Mari Beraha and Kostas Katsenos confirm the rule of penalization of comradely and friendly relations. The latter, deny their participation in the organization and choose not to cooperate with the persecuting mechanisms, defending their beliefs and their consistent participation in the fields of social competitiveness. The “suspicious” phone conversations and meetings, the DNA and fingerprints were all used as “compelling” evidence for the anti-terrorist force, upon which entire indictments were set on.

Today, three years later, with P.Roupa and N.Maziotis having chosen the path of clandestinity, the juridical mafia comes to write the end credits by issuing decisions against the 8 fighters.

NO END CREDIT FOR A STRUGGLE WHICH RAGES…

The organization Revolutionary Struggle, counting actions since 2003 and having a continuous presence in the struggle against the state and capitalism, attempted the promotion of subversion and further destabilisation of the regime with attacks on capitalist targets and structures of the state, so much with a symbolic tone as well as with the prospect of direct sabotage (stock exchange, banks, ministries, cops, court houses etc.)

We realize the actions of the R.S. as an inseparable part of the polymorphic and general anarchist onslaught towards the existing authoritarian structure. Despite any disagreements and deviations, this war finds us on the same side behind the separating line between the world of authority and the world of struggle. As anarchists we cannot call upon the propitiousness and lenience of the juridical authorities.

Armed struggle for freedom does not leave a legacy which is trapped in the minutes of a trial but breaks the monopoly of violence from the side of the state.

Anarchist action is not judged in the rooms of the courts but only by the scars it leaves in the space-time continuum.

The Revolutionary Struggle is flesh from the flesh of our communities.
